News

Barton & Williams welcomes our newest instructor!
We are excited to welcome Megs Early to our staff! Megs Early is a former Washington Redskins Cheerleader and Wizards Dancer. She is currently a Sideline Coach for the Washington Redskin Cheerleaders as well as the Coordinator for the Junior Redskin Cheerleaders. Megs loves to help dancers of all ages and skill levels grow technically and find their passion in performing. She is so excited to be back teaching where she first fell in love with dance! In addition to teaching jazz this summer, Megs is teaching a Cheer/Dance Team class! The suggested age for the Cheer/Dance Team class is 8 & up, but if your younger dancer is interested please let us know and we can look into starting another class!

Barton & Williams is now a satellite studio for the Junior Redskin Cheerleaders!

Dancers 5-17 years old have the opportunity to dance out on the field at up to three Redskins games this fall!  Dancers must participate in at least 2 practices at B&W before each game and mandatory practices at Fed Ex Field. If interested please email B&W at BWDance@verizon.net or call 540-720-1801. For more information and to download the registration/waiver forms please go to http://www.redskins.com/cheerleaders/jr-redskins.html. Barton & Williams wins 1st place in the NATION with a perfect score!!
Our senior company received top honors at StarQuest 2010 Nationals in Virginia Beach. Their number "Belief" choreographed by Michelle Smith received first place in the senior small group category with a PERFECT score! The dancers competed during the week and had to return at the end of the week for StarQuest's "Quest for the Best." Also competing in "Quest for the Best" was soloist Megan Dommel, who received 5th place out of 150 senior solos. Congrats dancers!
